Digital Signal Amplifier Technology
The VS-NRF incorporates a unique digital signal amplification system that enhances the detection of digital signals from Bluetooth, WiFi, cell phones, and digital spread spectrum (DSS) devices. This technology makes LED indicators and alarm signals more pronounced, enabling precise identification of digital signal sources.
Dedicated 2.4G WiFi IP Camera Detection
Specialized Module: Equipped with a professional 2.4G WiFi detection module for locating unauthorized 2.4G WiFi IP cameras.
Mode Switching: Use the N-F switch (N = Normal, F = 2.4G WiFi) to toggle between general detection and 2.4G WiFi-specific mode.
Interference Resistance: The F mode minimizes interference from other frequency bands, ensuring accurate detection of low-power IP cameras (as low as 1mW).
Wired Camera Lens Detection
Ultra-Bright Scan Light: Activate the red switch on the device top to emit a focused beam for scanning.
Lens Identification: Camera lenses reflect light as a stable, fixed point, while ordinary reflective surfaces (e.g., metal, glass) show shifting reflections when the light is moved.
Multiple Alert Modes
Audible Beep: Adjustable volume based on signal strength.
Visual Indication: 6-stage LED bar (green to red) showing signal intensity.
Vibration Alert: Silent mode for discrete detection.
Earphone Monitoring: Connect headphones for private surveillance.
Operation Guide
Step 1: Battery Installation
Slide open the battery compartment lid.
Insert 2 x AAA/UM-4 batteries following the indicated (+/-) polarity.
Replace the lid securely.
Step 2: Power On and Mode Selection
Power Switch: Located on the front left, with three positions:
Top: Power on (audible beep mode)
Middle: Power off
Bottom: Vibration alert mode
Power Indicator: Green LED confirms the device is operational.
Step 3: Sensitivity Calibration
Extend the antenna fully.
Turn the Sensitivity Tuner clockwise (+) until the first green LED lights up.
Slowly turn the tuner counterclockwise (-) until the LED just extinguishes to set the baseline sensitivity.
Step 4: Signal Detection Process
Sweep the device slowly (180 degrees) in the area of suspicion.
Upon detecting a signal, the LED bar will illuminate (green to red) and the device will beep or vibrate.
Adjust the Sensitivity Tuner (-) to shorten the detection range and pinpoint the signal source.
Step 5: 2.4G WiFi IP Camera Detection Mode
Slide the N-F switch to "F" to activate the specialized mode.
If signals are detected (LEDs blinking + beep/vibration), adjust the Sensitivity Tuner (-) until only the first green LED is faintly on.
A constant LED glow with continuous beep/vibration indicates a 2.4G analog camera.
Slide the switch to "N" to return to normal mode.
Step 6: Wired Camera Lens Detection
Press the red scan light button on the top to activate the LED.
Sweep the light across suspected areas.
Observe reflections: a fixed, non-shifting red dot indicates a camera lens; a shifting dot indicates a common reflective surface.
Do not use the scan light continuously for more than 3 minutes to prevent overheating.
Signal Type Identification
Continuous Signals:
Indicators: Steady LED glow + continuous beep/vibration
Sources: Wireless bugs, analog cameras, 3G/4G smartphones, two-way radios
Intermittent Signals:
Indicators: Flashing LED + periodic beep/vibration
Sources: WiFi networks, IP cameras, digital cameras, GSM phones
Safety & Operation Notes
Battery Maintenance:
Replace batteries immediately if the bottom red "Bat. Low" LED lights up.
Remove batteries during long-term storage to prevent leakage.
Environmental Precautions:
Avoid exposure to water, moisture, or high temperatures.
Do not drop or knock the device.
Sensitivity Adjustment for Noise:
If background noise causes constant alerts, turn the Sensitivity Tuner (-) until only the power LED is on, then resume detection.
Antenna:
Do not touch the antenna to metal surfaces or signal sources to prevent electrostatic damage.
Warranty Voiding Actions:
Unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification will void all warranties.
